  1.      MicroCAD 2.0 - Summary of Changes in Version 2.0 (June 1992)
  2.      ------------------------------------------------------------
  3.      The following is a summary of changes between versions 1.1 and 2.0.
  4.      For a summary of changes between versions 1.0 and 1.1, refer to
  5.      BULLETIN.201.  Note: Information in BULLETIN.111 is no longer
  6.      current.  For full updated instructions, refer to MICROCAD.DOC.

  9.      Diagram Export (DXF)
  10.      --------------------
  11.      Diagrams are now automatically exported in DXF format.  Both 3-D and
  12.      2-D exports are available, to accommodate the capabilities of various
  13.      receiving programs.  Refer to section 5.3 for details.  Additional
  14.      information on the DXF implementation is contained in section 8.5.

  17.      Auto-Dimensioning
  18.      -----------------
  19.      The dimensions of each line, rectangle and cube may be displayed on
  20.      the diagram.  The dimensions are updated dynamically as objects are
  21.      created or resized.  Dimensions may be displayed in whole numbers,
  22.      tenths, feet & inches, or inches & 16ths.  Refer to section 4.18.

  25.      Expanded File Format
  26.      --------------------
  27.      The maximum number of objects per diagram has been increased to
  28.      approximately 1500.  Diagrams are now saved as individual files.
  29.      The new file format uses substantially less disk space.  Existing
  30.      diagrams will be automatically converted to the new format the first
  31.      time the program is run.

  34.      Orthogonal Rotations
  35.      --------------------
  36.      Diagrams may now be rotated in 90 degree steps, in either the
  37.      vertical or horizontal plane, by clicking on the axis windows.  This
  38.      function may be used to display or add additional objects from the
  39.      top, bottom, back, or sides of a diagram.  Refer to section 4.19.

  42.      Additional Line Types

  44.      The dotted line function has been expanded to include seven additional
  45.      line types: hidden, center, phantom, dot, dash-dot, border and divide.

  48.      Landscape Mode

  50.      HP LaserJet landscape mode has been added to the previously available
  51.      portrait mode.

  54.      Overlay Grid
  55.      ------------
  56.      The overlay grid been changed from quad-ruled to dotted.  The spacing
  57.      remains 10.  The grid now coincides with the axis lines, and both may
  58.      now be used simultaneously.  Objects drawn while the grid is on are
  59.      now automatically aligned to the nearest grid point.

  62.      Icon Changes
  63.      ------------
  64.      The Grid and Background Color icons have been merged.  The Product
  65.      Info function has been given its own icon, and now includes both
  66.      forward and backward browse.  The Cursor Speed Adjust function has
  67.      been moved to the Perspective icon.  The Linear Dimensioning function
  68.      has been added to the Axis Windows icon.

  73.      The perspective projection algorithm has been changed to yield a more
  74.      technically accurate image.

  79.      The 80386 and 80486 processors are now recognized when running in
  80.      virtual-8086 mode.
